Alison Doody
Alison Doody is an Irish actress and model. She was born on 11th November 1966. She made her debut in the Bond film, A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as Nazi-sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan donnevan starred featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was first introduced to modeling when she was invited by a professional photographer. The result was an impressive professional career as a model for commercials. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work, a rule that was carried into her acting. The actress acted alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took possibly her most famous role ever as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazi-sympathiser The Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody is a co-star with three actors who have portrayed James Bond. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. In Hollywood her next move was to. She took over Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson part. Then she played Flannery Sheen's lover and agent opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody's return to the big screen came in 2003. Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. Her roles include the TV movie version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 as well as a booklet on the Holocaust as well as the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005.
